Amanda Smith plays with excellent control that makes virtuosic passages seem easy, with vibrant contrasts in tone color. Her creativity and communication skills make her an engaging and enjoyable musician and collaborator.
— Jaden Klein, Collaborative Pianist
Amanda never fails to play music with enthusiasm and expression. She has a wonderful ability to share a story in her performance, no matter the mood or style of the piece. She looks at every piece of music from a unique perspective and makes her performance stand out from any others. To know her personally is an amazing gift. She constantly brings new and fun things into the practice room and onto the stage. I’ve never had a dull moment around her or listening to her work
